Herban Soul Cafe LLC

Herban Soul Caf' is founded by Alexis Kimbrough whom has been in the customer service, mental health, and foodservice business for over 12 years combined. While working at a local health food store and beginning her own holistic well journey she got the idea to create a way to inspire the urban community through music, art, culture, and her passion for delicious healthy food. She used herbs and healthy food and beverages to aid along her individual mental health and wellness journey. Alexis 'would often visit different cafes around the city and noticed a lack of flavorful healthy food and beverage options that appealed to her. After speaking with numerous friends and family members within the urban community, she realized that they desired flavorful, healthy food options. Alexis noticed a lack of representation within the caf' and coffee shop community as it relates to food, music, and environment (ownership & operation). Most caf's cater to coffee, Boba tea,and overly sweet drinks with a very small selection of herbal tea.' Herban Soul Caf''s entire menu has been crafted with holistic wellness promotion in mind from herbal teas and sandwich combinations, to the pastry and pizza options. Adding Soul and Culture into the cafe was a must, as she has a deep 'love for music, poetry and art.
